What we collect, and why.

Last updated July 3, 2026

Tonecrafted is a small set of practice tools for guitarists. We collect as little as possible, and we don't sell or share anything with advertisers — there are no ads and no ad trackers anywhere on this site.

What we collect

What stays on your device

Your practice settings — last key, scale, tempo, theme, and recently viewed terms — are saved in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data clears them.

We also set one small cookie, tc_streak, shared across all Tonecrafted subdomains so your practice streak carries between tools. It holds only a count and a date. If you choose to create or enter a Sync Code, that count and date are stored with the code in Supabase so you can restore your streak on another device. The code is not tied to your name or email, and you can unlink it at any time.

Where it's stored

Email addresses, messages, and opted-in synced streaks are stored with Supabase, our database provider. Nothing is shared with a third party beyond the infrastructure that keeps the site and database running (Cloudflare and Supabase).

No accounts, no passwords

None of these tools require an account or a password. There's nothing to breach because there's nothing like that to store.

Your choices

Want your email or message removed? Contact us and we'll delete it. That's it — no forms, no runaround.
